Rental Terms

Booking and Payment Options

The total payment, along with a security deposit, is generally required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT as applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.

Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

You are liable for damage or loss up to the insurance excess, unless further insurance is purchased. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance coverage.

6. Modifications and Cancellations

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For specific information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Late cancellations or failure to show may incur additional charges.

7. Restricted Activities

Prohibited uses of the vehicle:

• Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or similar dangerous driving. Transporting hazardous materials is also not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is strictly forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle must be used within its intended design, adhering to passenger and weight limits. Driving beyond the specified geographical boundaries requires prior consent.

Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.

8. Liability Restrictions

To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Lancashire will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the amount you paid for rental services in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
